From September 25 to 28, IFEMA MADRID and Cuatro Vientos Aerodrome will host the first event for the integration of manned aviation, drone and unmanned aircraft systems and space exploitation and exploration sectors. Expodrónica, the Airspace Integration Congress, and the first edition of the World Space Summit will be held during Airspace Integration Week.

Only one month for all the actors involved in the management, exploration, and exploitation of the sky - from the ground to outer space - to meet in Madrid at the first event to integrate the ATM, UTM and STM sectors together with a cross-cutting area of civil-military cooperation. From September 25 to 28, IFEMA Madrid and Cuatro Vientos Aerodrome will show an exhibition area that will facilitate the meeting and networking between the main companies, regulatory bodies, administrations, and professionals oriented to the exploitation of the single sky. In addition, Airspace Integration Week will have four theatres where some of the leading international experts will present the future of each of the sectors. Among them, there will be different officials from the European Union, NATO, the U.S. Armed Forces, EUROCONTROL, NASA, and national air safety agencies.

As for the flight demonstrations, which will take place on September 27 and 28 at Cuatro Vientos Aerodrome, they are a unique chance to explore the efficient and safe coexistence of manned (ATM) and unmanned (STM) aircraft, with the participation, for the first time, of stakeholders operating in space.

"In the last decade, innovation has won the sky. But never before the opportunities have been so clear. AI and advances towards autonomy in traditional manned aviation; the integration of advanced area mobility in cities and its deployment in economic sectors as important as logistics, agriculture, industry and security; its full integration in the field of defense and its approaching incorporation in the transport of people and goods. And now, for the first time, we can add the extraordinary interest in space exploration, with programs of the main world powers active on the Moon and Mars; with new powers such as India, joining space exploration; and a space industry emerging at a speed never seen before", Isabel Buatas, director of Expodrónica, explains.

"Airspace Integration Week allows our attendees the only opportunity to get closer to the inner workings of airspace management and the single sky and to learn first-hand about the pioneering initiatives that will transform the way we understand the world," Brian Bruckbauer says.

Airspace Integration Week Madrid will award for the first time different prizes to the projects that contribute most significantly to aerospace integration in each of its fields: UTM, ATM, Space and Civil-Military Cooperation. In addition, during Expodrónica, the first Drone Film Festival will be held the perfect finale with Drone Light Show on the night of September 27th.
