FAA cements ties with Argentina’s ANAC

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Argentina’s  Administracion Nacional de Aviacion Civil (ANAC) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) during the opening day of the CANSO Latin America and Caribbean conference.

Carey Fagan, Executive Director of the FAA’s Office of International Affairs signed the MOA with Dr. Alejandro Granados, Director General of ANAC. Officials of the Government of Argentina and the U.S. Embassy attended the signing ceremony.

The signing of this MOA opens the door for ANAC and the FAA to build upon their close, collaborative relationship to further deepen their mutual commitment to improve safety and efficiency in an environmentally sound manner. The two administrations are considering cooperative programmes in operational safety and infrastructure, with runway profiling under discussion for an initial project.
