Reims ACC debuts new CWP services

DSNA, the French air navigation service provider, is deploying a permanent technical architecture supported by operational networks and a Control Working Position (CWP) dedicated HMI at its Reim centre.

This new system called ‘4 Me’ introduces new services and System Wide Information Management (SWIM) web-services such as :

  • XMAN procedures (featuring plug & play integration of new airports such as Zurich in March 2017)
  • Extended ATC Planning procedures, including dissemination of Short Term ATFCM Measures onto the CWP
  • Interactive weather information
  • Network Manager flight 4D-profile access from the CWP

Following the success of the live trials, the first build with some of these services was granted full operational status on 8 December with the project receiving approval from the French National Supervisory Authority.

Developed using agile iterative processes, 4Me is now targeting the development of a new Air Traffic Flow & Capacity Management service to be trialled during Spring 2017.
