Ubitech AMHS system tested between Thailand and Singapore

Ubitech has successfully conducted AMHS interoperability testing and communication linkage between its Ubimex AMHS system, operated by Aerothai in Bangkok, and the AMHS system located in Singapore using an X.400 connection over OSI communication.
In doing so Ubitech has not only proven its compatibility with third party AMHS systems, but at the same time demonstrated the flexibility of its Ubimex AMHS software to tolerate and adapt as needed to other vendors X.400 implementations.
The need for adaptation to achieve success underlines the absolute requirement that an AMHS vendor must own and maintain 100% of its AMHS software without relying on third-party software providers for core system components.
Ubitech has independently designed and developed its entire Ubimex AMHS system, and therefore, maintains complete control over its X.400 implementation and the flexibility to easily adjust it as necessary to facilitate interoperability with the many AMHS vendors.
This control will serve Ubitech well as more and more ATC systems and applications migrate from AFTN to AMHS messaging capabilities.
ANSPs, not only in Asia but around the world, will benefit from the Ubimex AMHS systems flexibility, openness, and compatibility as they will not be locked into any one vendors proprietary software when they make their choice for an AMHS supplier.
The Ubimex AMHS system can be said to be completely interoperable in all regions of ICAO regardless of the regional AMHS/ATN implementation plan.
